Dedicate Recruitment is working in partnership with this high performing multi academy Trust working across Leicestershire.
The Trust is seeking to appoint a driven and proactive Finance Business Partner who will support and enhance the Trust finance function and supporting trust schools to deliver a first-class financial service to enable pupils and staff to reach their full potential.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role involves:
- Provide efficient and stringent financial assistance to support Headteachers on all aspects of financial management.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of school budgets and forecasts including the five-year strategic plan
- Accruals and prepayments
- Conduct regular audits of school financial processes in line with Trust policies and compliance.
- Provide a high level of customer service when dealing with senior leaders and Trust stakeholders
- Providing financial ‘coaching’
- Knowledge of PS Financials and IMP Budgeting desirable
The successful Finance Business Partner will be educated to A Level or equivalent with a finance related qualification to NVQ Level 3 or AAT. You will have a good knowledge of management accounting, budgeting reporting and can explain complex financial information in simple terms. This is a customer facing role and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential and you can establish positive relationships easily.

This is a hybrid role which requires travel to schools, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year. Car driver essential.
