This is a newly created In House Tax Manager for a market leading plc based in the East Midlands. The successful candidate will oversee the company's tax plan and ensure corporate tax compliance is delivered along with other areas of taxation

Description

  • Develop and implement effective corporate tax compliance and planning strategies.
  • Supervise and coordinate tax audits.
  • Support with other areas of taxation such as VAT, Transfer Pricing
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns.
  • Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external advisers.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.

Profile

A successful Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CTA).
  • Experience in tax corporate tax planning and compliance.
  • Knowledge of tax software and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
