NJR Recruitment are currently working alongside a well-established firm of Independent Financial Advisers, who have had year on year growth. As a result of this continued growth, they have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and pro-active Financial Planning Administrator to join their team in the Leicester area.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules & regulations consistently
  • Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C and, financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud, and corruption) procedures of the company
  • Keep up to date with all relevant financial product, legislative and technical changes, as required
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy in all client interactions
  • Adhere to the company's ethos and values, consistently
  • LOA administration and processes
  • Processing new business applications
  • Raising client appointment packs ahead of meetings
  • Valuations
  • Photocopying
  • Letter writing
  • Communicating regularly with providers
  • General administrative duties when required

Ideal experience:

  • 5 years' experience working within an administration role, within the professional services market
  • Understanding of regulations/compliance advantageous
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to get to grips with, what might be an unfamiliar software package
  • Excellent customer facing interactions, good administration skills/phone manner and IT skills
  • Able to stay focused on tasks, despite distractions and interruptions
  • Be an integral part of the team - a good communicator, willing to input new ideas and suggestions to improve process
  • Open to adapting to evolving work practices, with a flexible approach to tasks and processes
