The key objective is to manage and schedule global air and sea freight shipments across the globe working with a prestigious portfolio of customers.Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and plan air and sea freight operations globally.
  • Submitting customs declarations adhering to HMRC customs requirements.
  • Tracking and monitoring shipments, ensuring that they've arrived on time.
  • Ensuring the delivery of freight is successful and there is no damages or anomalies with stock.
  • Supporting the wider team with customer freight forecasting using Excel.
  • Processing shipment documentation & information.
  • Scheduling freight deliveries with specific airline companies and airports.
  • Account manage a reputable company portfolio of customers.

The Candidate

  • Previous experience operating in a planning/scheduling position.
  • Able to travel around Leicestershire.
  • Ability to comfortably use ERP systems and communicate with customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous stock forecasting experience Desirable.
