The key objective is to manage and schedule global air and sea freight shipments across the globe working with a prestigious portfolio of customers.Main Responsibilities
- Manage and plan air and sea freight operations globally.
- Submitting customs declarations adhering to HMRC customs requirements.
- Tracking and monitoring shipments, ensuring that they've arrived on time.
- Ensuring the delivery of freight is successful and there is no damages or anomalies with stock.
- Supporting the wider team with customer freight forecasting using Excel.
- Processing shipment documentation & information.
- Scheduling freight deliveries with specific airline companies and airports.
- Account manage a reputable company portfolio of customers.
The Candidate
- Previous experience operating in a planning/scheduling position.
- Able to travel around Leicestershire.
- Ability to comfortably use ERP systems and communicate with customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous stock forecasting experience Desirable.
