Job Purpose:

To support the efficient, safe, and compliant delivery of passenger transport services
To ensure that the services are delivered for the benefit of the people of Leicestershire

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee fleet operations, ensuring efficient service delivery
Supervise and support Drivers and Escorts
Maintain health & safety compliance, risk assessments, and reporting
Assist in recruitment, training, and performance management
Liaise with stakeholders and prepare reports as required
Monitor vehicle maintenance and regulatory compliance
Identify cost-saving and income-generating opportunities
Deputise for the Transport Manager when needed
Communicating with parents – strong customer service skills are essential

Requirements:

Travel to different locations may be required
DBS check required due to working with vulnerable individuals
