About the Company:
The Recruitment Group is partnering with one of the leading global manufacturers of paper for hygienic and domestic use. Due to increased workloads, our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join their Manufacturing team at their Hamilton site.

The Papermill Operative will be responsible for safely moving Parent Reels from the end of the paper machine to the Warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and operational procedures.

• Safely move wrapped and labelled Parent Reels from the paper machine to the Warehouse
• Prepare, move, and place the Parent Reels into the wrapper (if required by the site layout)
• Weigh, wrap, and label Parent Reels as needed
• Record details in the stock management system
• Apply stickers in line with quality procedures
• Operate Forklifts and Clamp trucks safely; perform daily checks and report faults
• Operate other equipment in accordance with training guidelines
• Maintain equipment functionality as per work instructions
• Assist with operating and cleaning the paper machine when available (where trained)
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times

• FLT Licence (Forklift Truck)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
• Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and following procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
