Our client:

An established subcontract manufacturing company based in Leicester are seeking an experienced Storeperson.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with our team of supervisors and management team to produce the best possible service.

The Storeperson will be responsible for:

Receive, check and sign for all deliveries made to siteThe call-off and management of consumables and plant, which are not included in the main project bill of materialsResponsible for stores safety, security and hygieneControl stock levelsEnsure fully stocked binsTake deliveries and manage the loading area and storeroomCo-ordinate and manage plant & stock, ensuring all administration procedures are followed, and ensuring accurate stock managementUnload & load lorries/vansCheck deliveries against advice notes and for quality, quantities & damageAccepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity)carry out any reasonable task or project that may be required by the Production Manager

Forklift experience is essential, a Forklift license would be an advantage.
