Reed Financial Services are partnering with a national Financial Advisory seeking a Team Leader to lead a central and hybrid administration team in Leicester. The role involves ensuring high levels of customer service within given SLAs, supporting the SSAS Operations teams, and assisting with group-wide projects. The successful candidate will have daily operational responsibility to manage and support the team to achieve business, departmental, and individual objectives while adhering to company policies, governance, and legislation.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Direct, manage, and support the Leicester administration team, including remote hybrid workers, to deliver high-quality performance aligned with business and departmental goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and empower team members, promoting the culture, conduct, and behaviours required to support good customer outcomes.
  • Develop team working ethos and morale, ensuring engagement and delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with peers on work management, maintaining a flexible approach for positive business outcomes.
  • Monitor teamwork flow and resource allocation, ensuring workload is processed in accordance with SLAs and internal deadlines.
  • Assist in overseeing training and development to ensure high-quality performance and team efficiency.
  • Manage absence, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and team issues in line with company policies and culture.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-to-ones, and reviews, managing performance effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with compliance and legislative requirements within the team.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients and third parties.
  • Engage with third-party providers to obtain accurate scheme valuations and other relevant data, ensuring data integrity.
  • Contribute to projects and deliver within set timescales, identifying key importance areas and risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous line management experience is desirable.
  • Technical expertise in administration.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Strong working relationships building skills with team members, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Conscientious with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
  • Excellent customer service, organisational, written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
