Job Role: EDM Machinist
Location: Leicester
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift: Days or 3x rotation
Pay Rate: up to £18.00 per hour

The Role
Our client is currently looking for an EDM Machinist for a permanent role in Leicester. The role will involve:
- operating EDM machines
- working from engineering drawings
- operate CMM machines
- use various measuring equipment (e.g. micrometres, varniers).
The Candidate
The right candidate for the EDM Machinist role will have:
- a strong engineering background
- preferably be apprentice trained or equivalent
- experience of operating multi axis CNC machines
- experience using a wide variety of machinery including, milling, turning, grinding and operating EDM machines
- experience of EDM processes would be an advantage
