- Actively engage with Members at all levels of seniority, including visiting sites across a wide range of products groups and activities to bring about positive Health and Safety outcomes by demonstrating leadership and the shared purpose of our Association in all aspects of occupational Health and Safety.
- Assisting in the design, development, and promotion of our Health and Safety strategy to ensure risk reduction across all our Members, and in doing so realising "Vision Zero."
- Working closely with our Communications team to make a proactive contribution to creating influential Health and Safety content across all relevant channels aimed at sharing information and securing engagement from Members, employees, and contractors.
- Managing our relevant Committees and Working Groups as required to provide leadership, guidance and support to them to ensure the best possible outputs from their work.
- Proven experience of proactive management of the Health & Safety function, ideally in a relevant industry, or where the skills can be seen to be transferable.
- Effective and engaging communication skills with an ability to communicate with a broad range of people through a range of media including written and verbal.
- Ideally, good technical knowledge of Health and Safety matters affecting the minerals products industry.
- Able to demonstrate competence through relevant qualifications, membership of professional bodies, evidence of CPD, and practical experience. Sound IT skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
