HSE Advisor - Requirements & Responsibilities
- Experience working within a printing & packaging/manufacturing environment prefered
- NEBOSH General Certificate - preferred but not essential
- Interested in learning and continued professional development
- Ability to adapt and engage at all levels whilst working as part of a dynamic team.
- Providing day-to-day advice and guidance to the various management and site leaders
- Ensuring risk assessments and safe systems of work are current and briefed to the relevant staff.
- Co-ordinating and carrying out safety audits.
- Implementing and upkeep of the BRC-IOP hygiene standard.
- Co-ordinating and carrying out BRC-IOP audits.
- Developing and maintaining a positive culture within the site.
- General health and safety queries, reviewing risk assessments and dealing with general health and safety documentation amongst other duties.
- Good IT skills
