Hourly Rate: £34-40 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join a private hospital in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, ensuring safe and effective medication management, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing and reviewing chemotherapy and oncology medications
• Providing advice to medical staff and patients on medication regimens
• Conducting medication reconciliation and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols
• Monitoring patient responses to treatments and suggesting medication adjustments
• Collaborating with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements:

• Qualified Pharmacist with experience in oncology
• GPhC registered
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy medications and protocols
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must have the SACT passport
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
