About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting students in their learning journey? Do you have experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across secondary schools in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of professionals and provide essential support to students, helping them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with additional learning needs.

  • Assist in delivering small group sessions to reinforce learning.

  • Support classroom teachers in managing lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

  • Adapt and modify resources to meet the individual needs of students.

  • Help with the development of learning strategies to support student progress.

  • Work with students with diverse needs, including those with learning difficulties, emotional support needs, and behavioral challenges.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant (essential).

  • A good understanding of the secondary school curriculum.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students in different educational settings.
