Macildowie are seeking an HR Advisor to join a dedicated change team within a great Public Sector organisation in Leicester, supporting complex restructuring and redundancy programmes on an interim contract, initially set to run until July. This role is not focused on general Employee Relations (ER) casework but instead plays a key part in operationalising business cases into actionable HR processes.

The role is paying between £20-£22 per hour with hybrid working available.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing expert advice on redundancy and restructure processes, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Translating business cases created by HR Business Partners into clear, structured change plans.
  • Conducting redundancy calculations, job matching, and job evaluations.
  • Preparing and personalising letters and communications for employees affected by change.
  • Reviewing and refining templates, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
  • Collaborating with HRBPs and the wider change team to deliver multiple change programmes effectively.
  • Using Excel and Mail Merge to manage key data and communications.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of restructuring and redundancy processes.
  • Ability to take initiative, spot gaps in processes, and suggest improvements.
  • Confident with Excel (including calculations) and Mail Merge.
  • Able to work closely with HRBPs and operational teams to drive change.
  • Comfortable navigating shifting priorities and timelines.
