We are seeking a Network Management Technician with a strong background in street works and permit approvals. The ideal candidate will be organised, adept in management processes, and have a flexible approach to work planning. This role requires a blend of office presence and remote work, with initial training conducted in-office.
Day-to-day of the role:- Utilise Street Manager and Confirm (HMS) to approve permits, ensuring compliance with network management requirements.
- Employ One Network to approve minor permits efficiently.
- Perform administrative tasks to maintain clear inboxes and manage correspondence.
- Plot diversions and coordinate street works effectively.
- Adapt work planning to meet the dynamic needs of network management.
- Initially work from the office 2-3 days a week for training, with the potential to reduce to 1 day in the office thereafter.
- Experience in street works and permit approvals.
- Proficiency in using Street Manager, Confirm (HMS), and One Network.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Ability to manage administrative tasks and maintain organised records.
- Flexibility in adapting to changing work requirements and schedules.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexi-time with core hours from 10am-3pm, offering flexibility around work-life balance.
