This role, based in Leicester, offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where you'll play a crucial part in IT support and infrastructure setup.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support both remotely and on-site.
  • Travel to multiple UK sites to set up IT infrastructure for new locations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking equipment at existing sites.
  • Collaborate with the helpdesk to resolve support tickets and provide telephone and remote assistance.
  • Perform user administration tasks and assist with network support and maintenance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
  • Analytical skills to solve technical issues effectively.

Hands-on experience with:

  • Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, and domain-based networks.
  • Networking fundamentals (LANs, VLANs, Subnets, etc.).
  • Helpdesk ticketing systems and common software applications like Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Previous experience in a similar role (training provided if you're the right candidate!).
  • Networking certifications (CompTIA N+, CCENT, CCNA) are a plus, or a willingness to achieve these qualifications.
