Are you passionate about technology and eager to make a real impact in the education sector? We are delighted to be supporting a medium size Trust in Leicestershire, seeking an enthusiastic IT Technician.

Based in the Central Services Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting staff and students by maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of devices and applications.

Supporting an assigned cluster of schools, the IT Technician will be responsible for:

  • Connect, set up and check PCs for normal operation
  • Install applications and trouble shoot problems
  • Maintain, upgrade and repair a wide range of PC's
  • Advise on compatibility of hardware ranging from surface books to VR headsets, Microbots and 3D printers.

The successful IT Technician will be GCSE educated including English & Maths, with an NVQ 2 or equivalent in a relevant IT qualification. You will possess sound numeracy and literacy skills with a good understanding of technical procedures and Microsoft Systems.

On a personal note, we are seeking a proactive individual who is keen to share ideas and develop their skills. You will be confident in providing good customer service and problem solving skills.
