Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Salary: 45,000 D.O.E
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team, contributing to the assembly and quality assurance of mechanical products. This role offers a variety of challenges in a fast-paced environment, where your skills and experience will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical products according to detailed drawings, specifications, and build procedures.
- Ensure products are fully finished and quality-assured, ready for use.
- Raise Engineering Change Reports (ECRs) for any missing or incorrect parts in collaboration with the team.
- Use build sheets to ensure proper time management and process adherence.
- Contribute ideas and innovations for improving machine functionality and performance.
- Manufacture and fabricate bespoke parts as needed, following safety protocols.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members, including engineers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
Health & Safety:
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all machinery and equipment used is properly maintained and that you are trained to operate them safely.
- Report any safety concerns or near misses promptly to ensure a safe workplace.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting and assembly.
- Broad fitting and assembly engineering background.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and creative thinking.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
- Experience working with quality standards, preferably ISO.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
