Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Salary: 45,000 D.O.E

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team, contributing to the assembly and quality assurance of mechanical products. This role offers a variety of challenges in a fast-paced environment, where your skills and experience will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical products according to detailed drawings, specifications, and build procedures.
Ensure products are fully finished and quality-assured, ready for use.
Raise Engineering Change Reports (ECRs) for any missing or incorrect parts in collaboration with the team.
Use build sheets to ensure proper time management and process adherence.
Contribute ideas and innovations for improving machine functionality and performance.
Manufacture and fabricate bespoke parts as needed, following safety protocols.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members, including engineers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Health & Safety:

Follow strict health and safety guidelines.
Ensure that all machinery and equipment used is properly maintained and that you are trained to operate them safely.
Report any safety concerns or near misses promptly to ensure a safe workplace.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in mechanical fitting and assembly.
Broad fitting and assembly engineering background.
Excellent problem-solving ability and creative thinking.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
Experience working with quality standards, preferably ISO.
Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
