Job Purpose

The WMS Superuser plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of warehouse processes by maintaining, optimising, and enhancing the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations. As the on-site WMS specialist, you will be the go-to person for all system-related queries, providing both operational and technical support while driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the WMS to ensure peak performance.
  • Provide functional support to the Operations teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related issues.
  • Analyse system data to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Train warehouse staff on WMS functionalities and best practices.
  • Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with central IT teams to resolve system issues promptly.
  • Work closely with IT and warehouse teams to introduce new system features.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all new WMS implementations.
  • Develop process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with the training team.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, attending weekly and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in managing change across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and present recommendations effectively.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with WMS or similar systems.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and processes.
  • Proven ability to train and support system users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
