Spanish Teacher
Start date: February 2025End date: ongoing Timetable: Full time long term Hays is working alongside a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Leicester dedicated to fostering a love for learning and cultural appreciation. They are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher to join their team and inspire students to achieve linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Teach Spanish language and culture to students at various proficiency levels.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language program.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish at the K-12 or college level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment.
- Passion for Spanish language and culture.
