Key Responsibilities:-
Caseload Management: As a Casualty Lawyer, you will manage a mix of pre-litigation and litigated claims, covering areas such as Highways Law, Occupiers Liability, Employers Liability, and Housing Disrepair. Additionally, there are opportunities to work on more complex matters such as Data Breach Claims, Human Rights, and Subsidence/Flooding—providing exposure to a wide range of legal issues.

Legal Drafting and Research: The role involves drafting pleadings, witness statements, and preparing cases for trial. You will also conduct legal research and investigations to support case progression and ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Client and Court Interaction: You will interact regularly with clients, counsel, and other relevant parties. This includes attending conferences and court hearings, ensuring effective communication and case management.

Experience: The role is open to solicitors with NQ to 2 years PQE, ideally with experience in defending litigated claims. However, candidates with claimant litigation experience will also be considered, providing flexibility for those transitioning into a defendant role.
