We are currently looking for a Carrier Supervisor to join our wider transport team based at our Distribution site in Leicester. 

Reporting to the Carrier Manager, you will continuously improve the service levels, capacities, and costs of the Topps Groups strategic delivery partners to ensure promises to the customers are being maintained. You will be a key point of contact for internal customers, providing support for Carrier related enquiries.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Measuring the performance and service quality of multiple carriers
  • Support in the Ops calls, daily/weekly/monthly reviews as well as lead meetings in the Carrier Manager’s absence.
  • Provide analysis and data led insights to delivery related enquiries.
  • Manage and resolve carrier related issues
  • Alongside the Carrier Manager, support with improvement initiatives
  • Drive innovation by supporting new projects and their operational success 

Key Skills / Attributes:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experienced in working in customer fulfilment, preferably within the carrier industry.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • A competent user of excel, able to interpret data to reach conclusions and make recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills
