The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Supply Chain activities within an FMCG manufacturing environment with B2B, B2C and ecommerce routes to market. Responsibilities will encompass sourcing and supplier management, materials management, inventory management, despatch and logistics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement and relationships with supplier, price negotiation, contractual terms, performance review and compliance.
  • Inventory control, cycle counts, stock profile and reporting, ensuring correct stock level availability
  • Order process and forecasting
  • Monitor freight costs and price negotiations
  • Import logistics administration and compliance, Incoterms, VAT and Duty
  • Leadership of the Supply Chain, Merchandising, Sourcing & Production teams
  • Master Data Management within the ERP system.
  • Develop and report relevant key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure, monitor, and analyse Supply Chain performance for the business.
  • Budget management, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' previous experience in a Senior Supply Chain leadership role, including team leadership, development and KPI reporting
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the full end to end supply chain across procurement, materials supply, inventory, logistics (including import)
  • Experience of managing an international supply base, including Far East sourcing and supplier management
  • Experience from within garment, accessories, homeware or related manufacturing environments is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer delivery focus
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • CIPS qualified or working towards (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
