Salary: Up to 40,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Engineer to join our team in Leicester. If you have worked as a Forklift Engineer, plant fitter, or vehicle technician, this role could be perfect for you. Experience in plant equipment, powered access, agriculture, or motor vehicles is also a great fit.
Your Role as a Forklift Engineer:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Work on a variety of machines, from pallet trucks to automated trucks.
- Provide high-quality service and repairs at customer sites.
- Competitive salary with a 5% annual bonus and commission opportunities.
- Monday-Friday, rotating early/late shifts (39.5 hours per week).
- Overtime opportunities and additional on-call pay.
- Company van and fuel card (option for private use).
- 25 days annual leave and company pension scheme.
- Specialist manufacturer training and forklift driver license.
- Laptop, phone, uniform, and PPE provided.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is ideal but not essential.
- IT literacy for record-keeping and orders.
- Full UK driving license.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive and professional approach.
