We are recruiting for a brand-new Trade Social Media Coordinator to join the Topps Tiles Digital Channel Team and grow our trade presence across social media. The Trade Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing our social media presence for our trade offering. This is a varied role covering an array of projects so requires a highly organised and hardworking individual with an in-depth knowledge and passion for all things trade..

Our social channels form a key part in our trade customer journey and growing brand awareness. We’re looking for a person who can bring a regular stream of fresh & out-of-the-box ideas to the table.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Topps Tiles Trade social channels
  • Creating social media content, scheduling posts, including but not limited to written captions, image, and video graphics
  • Responsible for the community management of the social media channels, ensuring customers and all other stakeholders are replied to, engaged with or assisted, in a timely and polite manner.
  • Planning: Developing a posting schedule, and using software to schedule posts
  • Analysing: Tracking performance metrics, and reporting on results
  • Collaborating: Working with brands and influencers to create content and grow the channel
  • Researching: Identifying target audiences, and staying up to date on social media trends
  • Working with the Digital Channel Manager to manage paid social campaigns.
  • Working with the Trade Event Coordinator to promote trade events in stores
  • Any other reasonable duties to help facilitate and/or support the Digital Channel Manager in their duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

Essential                                                

  • An in-depth knowledge and passion for all things trade is essential.
  • Creative individual, comfortable with bringing topics to life using visual graphics, imagery and video.
  • Organised, with the ability to manage multiple posting schedules simultaneously.
  • Social media experience
  • Being detail orientated, ensuring the accuracy of spelling and messaging is correct for all external posts.
  • Team player
  • A good ability to communicate to more senior positions.

Desirable

  • Degree in related field
  • Experience in a creative role (2+ years)
  • Experience with design tools, such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Good copy writing ability.
  • Experience in managing Paid media accounts, managing budgets and target audiences.
