Macildowie are excited to be working with a leading retailer on their search for a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager. This role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about creating engaging content, staying ahead of digital trends, and driving measurable results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media strategy, analytics, and people management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Drive both organic and paid social media initiatives to achieve business KPIs and engagement targets.
  • Plan and oversee a content calendar to ensure consistent, high-quality, and brand-aligned posts.
  • Manage and mentor a team, including Social Media Executives and Marketing Assistants.
  • Engage with followers, customers, and influencers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews to foster brand loyalty and community growth.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance, using insights to optimize strategies and improve engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activity to keep social media efforts fresh and relevant.
  • Oversee paid advertising campaigns on social media, managing budgets, targeting, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
  • Strong ability to analyse social media metrics and implement data-driven strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A creative mind-set with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
