Job Role: Metal Fabricator
Location: Leicester
Shift: 7am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs / 7am to 12:30pm on Fri
Pay Rate: 16-18 per hour + overtime

Our client:
A well established manufacturing company are seeking a talented Metal Fabricator to join their team. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, using a variety of tools and machines to cut, shape, and weld metal parts, and assembling the final product. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the requirements for metal fabrication projects
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as shears, brakes, and welding machines to cut, bend, and shape metal
- Weld components into place to assemble the final product
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain and repair equipment as necessary
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a metal fabricator or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and equipment
- Ability to operate various metalworking machines and tools
- Welding certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
