Packaging Technologist – Food Production

On-site Mon-Fri (with hybrid options after 6-9 months)

Essential skills: Knowledge and experience in FFS (form, fill, seal), AutoCAD and Cape Pack.

As the 4th on-site packaging technologist, you'll be joining a team within a plant that has a total headcount of 350 professionals.

What are your responsibilities:

• Managing multiple exciting sustainability-forward packaging development projects.
• Cost optimisation, project implementation and continuous market research.
• Working towards world-leading standards in the industry whilst meeting quality, cost and fit-for-purpose requirements.
• In charge of factory trials to meet required packaging standards and food contract certification requirements through PIR with Suppliers & SQP

What is your skill set:

• Essential knowledge and experience in FFF – Form, Fill, Seal.
• 5+ years’ experience in packaging. (Food – preferred. Pharmaceuticals or cosmetics is considered).
• Proficiency and knowledge in AutoCAD, Solidworks and Cape Pack. Plus, good knowledge of MS Office.
• Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of packing equipment and materials. Basic knowledge of packaging food law and compliance.
