Hays is working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Leicester to find a Year 4 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from February Half Term until the end of the academic year. Your new role

In your new job as a Teacher with Hays, you will take on planning and marking responsibilities with the support of a Teaching Assistant who knows the class well. You'll work collaboratively to foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues - with a focus on communicating with parents of SEND pupils to report on pupil progress. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.

What you need to succeed

To be successful in your new job, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with strong experience in Key Stage 2. You'll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support children with EHCPs or who speak English as an additional language. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school ready to build relationships quickly!
