Product Manager - Pressure & Flow
Product Manager required to join an expert in industrial automation solutions, focusing on their flow and pressure product range (valves, flow meters, flow switches, pressure gauges etc.).
In this role you will represent and promote my client's product range, analyse the market to identify future product or technology gaps and you will also perform competitive analysis.
This role requires both technical and commercial aptitude and would be a great opportunity for someone looking to move from Sales Engineering, Applications Engineering or Technical Support into Product Management.
The Package:
Salary to 45,000

The Role:
- Act as a central point of contact for salesmen regarding product issues.
- To promote the relevant products both internally to sales people and externally to the market.
- To answer technical queries for customers.
- Request and negotiate special prices for projects from suppliers.
- Calculate special net prices for customers as required.
- Produce copy for promotional materials in conjunction with the Marketing team.
- Identify new market areas and investigate to identify potential new customers.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and initiate improvement plans if required.
- Visit customers with Sales Engineers to support projects as required.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of automation products/solutions, pressure & flow would be preferable e.g. valves, flow meters, flow switches and pressure gauges.
- Degree or HNC in automation, electronic engineering or similar.
