They are a mechanical service contracting business with roots in Leicestershire since 1982, they have established a reputation for excellence in the HVAC industry. They have extensive experience in the design and installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems, particularly in the healthcare and medical imaging sectors. Their expansion into Havant, Hampshire, and their continuous investment in professional staff, training, and technology reflect their commitment to meeting the increasingly complex and varied needs of their clients.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager, preferably with experience in the HVAC industry to join their busy team.

About The Role:

To assist furthering the companys client base within the medical imaging world to gain business and orders with other turnkey main contractors.

On the basis of this the company require a project manager support and to cover works throughout the UK.

The plan to further grow the business in the medical imaging world To hopefully become the largest and most successful supplier to the main turn-key contractors.

You will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. You will oversee the planning, execution and delivery of projects within defined timelines, budgets and quality standards

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend handover for new projects with relevant estimator.
  • Engage with design team Either in house or possible external to organise design works and possible input of information from site visits and surveys.
  • Carryout some basic design works, auto-cad drawings and co-ordination.
  • Management of project from start to finish including site attendance and attendance at commissioning stage.
  • Procurement of all materials and services.
  • Organisation of labour either requests to office for ACVRs own labour or organising sub-contractor labour.
  • Cost control of project and management of valuations and cash flow.
  • Attendance of weekend / out of hours works if applicable and Crane / lifting operations.
  • Provision of necessary information for O&M Manuals and responsible for keeping design / as fitted changes for purposes of the As Fitted Drawings.
  • Systems and working practices set up.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements and standardisation of project management practices. Share lessons learned and best practices across the organisation.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, including mechanical engineers, technicians and contractors. Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
