The Company:
An experienced Wholesale Knitwear Merchandiser / Account Manager is needed to join an established supplier of a wide range of garments to various high street retailers.
The Role:
- Raising orders.
- Negotiating prices and delivery dates.
- Maintaining critical path.
- Ordering trims directly from nominated trim suppliers
- Managing the process from initial enquiry right through to delivery.
- Checking factory orders, packing lists and invoices - verifying all documentation is correct.
- Following processes to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Attending fit sessions and providing updates to the team.
- Liaising with freight forwarders when necessary to help arrange shipments
- Dealing with customer and factory queries.
- Factory visits as and when needed.
- Ensuring all records are kept up to date.
Skills Required:
- Previous experience working as a Merchandiser ideally working with knitwear
- Excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with Suppliers and Buyers on a daily basis.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Commercial awareness with a keen interest in fashion.
- Ability to work with deadlines and prioritise work.
- Excellent organisational skills, multitask with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong IT knowledge including Excel and MS Office.
