Role: Procurement Manager

2 days a week in the office

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager for our Local Authority client.
The Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager will be;
- Manage the team to deliver procurement and deliver compliant and cost-effective procurement of high value/risk goods, works and/or services
- Reviewing current procurement practices, contracts and identifying new and innovative ways of delivering services through procurement and implementing these
- To facilitate cultural change across the organisation to deliver effective and efficient procurement
- Reduce the environmental impact of the organisation's procurement activity
- Implementing and promoting the organisation's policies and procedures relating to all areas of employment and service delivery.
The Ideal candidate for the Procurement Manager will have;
- CIPS qualified or equivalent Procurement qualification
- Experience in Procurement Management in Public Sector organisations (essential)
- Experience in tendering and contract management processes
- Confident ICT user - Microsoft Office, Excel & Procurement systems
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management.
