The ideal candidate should have a sales background in electrical/electronic engineering, with experience in automation, PLCs, and sensors.
The position offers a salary of £50k, with an uncapped OTE of £64k, along with benefits and an executive car.
Candidates should possess at least some exposure to a sales engineering environment and ideally hold an ONC/HNC level qualification in engineering.

The Role of the Sales Engineer:

This Sales Engineer position is a hybrid role of office/home and field work.
You will be tasked with contacting new and existing customers to understand their requirements with regards to PLC’s, sensors, control systems, vision systems and much more.
You will be given full training on the product portfolio; position sensors, safety technology, industrial communications and systems for machines and will become an expert on all things industrial sensor.
You will be speaking to a wide and diverse client base which consists of Factory automation, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, chemical companies amongst many others.

The Ideal Person for the Sales Engineer:

A sales background in electrical/electronic engineering would be best suited.
Automation / PLC / Sensor experience.
Some exposure to a sales engineering environment.
Innovative, tenacious and positive.
You must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to influence.
ONC/HNC level qualification in engineering.
Experience of sensor technology in a wide range of industrial automation applications would be desirable.
