Macildowie is working with a well-established business in North Leicestershire to recruit a Credit Control and Sales Ledger Administrator. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working arrangement-following training, you'll be in the office for four days and can work from home for one. The role is paying up to £30,000.

This role will primarily focus on credit control, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments, reducing aged debt, and maintaining excellent relationships with customers. Alongside this, you will provide sales ledger support, handling invoicing, reconciliations, and customer queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the credit control function, ensuring overdue payments are chased effectively.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to encourage timely payments.
  • Allocating payments, resolving queries, and reconciling accounts.
  • Issuing sales invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting.
  • Supporting the finance team with other administrative duties as needed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience in a credit control or sales ledger role.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach to debt management.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
