Career Teachers is working with a fantastic College in the heart of Leicester to find a passionate and forward thinking Design Technology Teacher. Is this you?

Experience in a Secondary setting is essential, as well as experience of teaching to GCSE Level standard.

The ideal candidate for us would have a passion for their subject, advanced practical and theoretical knowledge, and experience in the classroom.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant and diverse college, amongst a strong team of existing teachers and senior leaders.

The school are looking for someone to work with them full time, and someone who is open to picking up some general cover lessons. We are looking for:

  • A passionate Teacher of Design Technology, Textiles, Food, Graphics (QTS or ECT status)
  • PGCE - SCITT - other relevant teaching qualification
  • Degree within Art - Design - Engineering
  • Produce quality lessons and encourage participation
  • Experience working at KS3 & KS4 students
  • Ability to push students to achieve the best results
  • Motivation & passion for your subject is a must.
