Philosophy & Ethics Teacher - Leicester

Timetable: Full-time

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Philosophy & Ethics Teacher to provide long-term cover from after Easter until the end of the academic year. You will be required to teach Philosophy, Ethics, and Worldviews and RE. Full teaching responsibilities are required, including planning and marking.

To be eligible for this job, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • A degree in Philosophy and Ethics or a related subject
  • Experience of teaching Philosophy and Ethics or Religious Education to KS3 and KS4 students
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
