About the Role
A leading UK FMCG company in Leicester is seeking an adaptable, multi-skilled engineer for an exciting opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in food or FMCG industries.
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on new and existing equipment.
- Conduct preventative and planned maintenance.
- Work on high-speed FMCG machinery, handling fault finding on various equipment.
- Read electrical drawings and perform fault finding on PLCs (advantageous).
- Support process improvements, TPM, and 5S workplace practices for both engineering and manufacturing.
Maintenance Engineer Skills & Experience
- Relevant qualifications (Degree, NVQ, or apprenticeship background).
- Prior experience as a maintenance engineer.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
