Join our dedicated Core AMHP team at Leicestershire County Council! We are seeking experienced and qualified Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) to join our team, contributing to the provision of high-quality mental health services within the county.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for AMHPs to focus solely on AMHP work within a supportive and collaborative environment. We offer two shift patterns:
- 08:30 - 17:00
- 12:00 - 08:00
Any hours worked outside these shifts will accrue as time off in lieu (TOIL) to be taken on designated admin days. Core AMHPs work Monday to Friday and are on a rota system three days a week. The remaining two days are dedicated to follow-up work and administrative tasks. However, we expect Core AMHPs to be available to undertake assessments on admin days if exceptional demand requires it.
Requirements:- AMHP qualification is essential.
- Sufficient experience to quickly and effectively integrate into the role.
We can facilitate the warranting process for successful candidates, or work with your current warranting authority if you are already warranted elsewhere.
