Hays Education is working in partnership with an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' village school near Lutterworth who are seeking an adaptable Learning Support Assistant to work four days per week from January 2025. This role requires experience working in EYFS and Key Stage One as well as supporting SEND pupils 1:1 in a classroom environment.Your new school This thriving school near Lutterworth offers pupils high quality teaching supportedby a wider trust of likeminded schools. It is a supportive working environmentwhere staff have an 'all-hands-on-deck' attitude, creating a community focused setting.They are looking for a new LSA who can use their own initiative to join in andcontribute to the school's culture of building each other up.Your new roleInyour new job as a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role insupporting this EYFS and KS1 classes alongside their teacher as well as workingclosely with on a 1:1 basis with a SEND pupil. You'll be an essential part ofthe school community - offering support to pupils in the classroom, break times and transition times. As this role is part-time, you will have the flexibilityto continue working on supply one day per week - or use this time to find abetter work-life balance in the New Year!What you'll need to succeedTosucceed in this job, you will have Supporting Teaching and Learningqualification or equivalent. You'll also have experience as a Learning SupportAssistant or Teaching Assistant. Most importantly, you'll need to be proactiveand energetic - able to confidently support pupils and get stuck in withdifferent classroom activities.What you'll get in return
