An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Stock Team for a CTD Stock Replenishment Supervisor. Reporting to the Stock Manager, you will be a critical interface between  suppliers and stores and a key member of the team. You will be responsible for managing a team of 1 direct report and the efficient running of the CTD Stock Replenishment Team to ensure stock targets and cover is maintained in the warehouse. This will include ensuring availability at overseas factories ready to ship to required deadlines. The role will also include securing the most competitive transit and shipping rates to achieve optimum margin.

To succeed in this role it is essential you possess excellent people management and coaching skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who is a passionate and a dedicated people manager who enjoys developing their team with the ability to influence and drive results. Strong planning and organization skills and experience of using Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level are essential. Your attention to detail and numerical skills will be excellent, as will your verbal and written communication abilities. A collaborative team worker, you’ll be working closely with colleagues across the business and suppliers.  

The Role

  • Lead, coach and motivate direct report
  • Deliver excellent customer service through a consistently professional approach.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and shipping agents.
  • Act with integrity and professionalism at all times with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain the most efficient stock levels and availability to areas CTD service.
  • Actively ensure that factories produce, and hold required stock quantities at all times.
  • To control and oversee shipping to ensure efficient replenishment.
  • Ensure effective cost control within the department including management of all outstanding credits from suppliers for faulty goods, shortages, and customer complaints.
  • Ensure all surplus accounts and invoices are managed and processed correctly.
  • To liaise with both the Warehouse and the Buying department on New Product launches
  • Manage promotional stock through JIT delivery and transitions between promotions.
  • Ensure effective communication through the business on stock levels, stock disposal.
  • Management and provision of weekly reporting
  • Analyse data at sku level to ensure smooth buying patterns and forecasting for promotional buying.
  • Work with and cover of other senior team members during absence when necessary.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Logistics / Buying and Marketing.

The Person

Essential requirements:

  • Experience of leading, coaching and motivating a team with a passion to develop them
  • Experience of stock management / replenishment systems and processes
  • Experience of negotiating and building successful relationships with suppliers
  • Microsoft Excel skills to an intermediate standard
  • Experience in a similar role within a Supply Chain environment
  • Strong attention to detail, numerate and analytical
  • Excellent planning and organization and skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Analytically minded and a good head for numbers
  • Experience of NAV / Dynamics would be an advantage
