What Youll Be Doing
As a Tool Fitter, you'll be essential in installing, maintaining, and fine-tuning tools for EDM and laser machining systems. Heres what your days will look like:
- Fitting and assembling precision tools for high-tech CNC, EDM, and laser machinery.
- Making sure all tooling is set up for maximum accuracy and performance.
- Routine maintenance and repairs to keep everything running at peak efficiency.
- Working with engineers to troubleshoot and optimise tooling.
- Diagnosing and fixing tool and machine issues before they escalate.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure precise fitting and setup.

- Experience as a Tool Fitter, Machine Tool Engineer, or similar role.
- Background in EDM, laser machinery, CNC, or high-precision tooling is highly desirable
- Mechanical fitting and assembly expertise.
- The ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical specifications.
