Must have exp instructural steel, secondary steel, architectural metalwork, and industrial metalworks.
Job Role:
- Creating and fabricating metal structures and components according to design specifications
- Examining project requirements to determine materials and dimensions needed
- Assessing and mitigating potential challenges in the fabrication process
- Conducting precise measurements and cutting materials to specified sizes
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications
- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints for accurate fabrication
- Operating and maintaining fabrication machinery and tools
- Assembling and welding components to construct final products
- Inspecting finished products for quality and making necessary adjustments
- Collaborating with design teams and engineers to optimize fabrication processes
Requirements:
- Experience in fabrication or a related field
- Proficiency in working with various tools and materials to create components or structures
- Technical skills in interpreting blueprints and specifications
- Ability to operate machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Attention to detail for precise fabrication and assembly
- Adherence to safety procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of material properties and characteristics
