A TIG Welder is required to join a manufacturing company based in Leicester.

This position is required to work on three shift patterns.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Completion of Tig welding tasks on Aero and IGT components in line with customer specification
Completion of critical tube welding tasks, welding of vanes to vanes
Inspection of work to ensure compliance with strict quality standards
Using a range of air tools to perform work tasks
Completion of all necessary paperwork (i.e batch cards)
Understanding of basic Engineering drawings and method specifications.

Requirements for the position of the Welder:

Proven experience in TIG welding, ideally gained on aerospace and gas turbines
Experience working in a fast-paced Manufacturing / Engineering environment
Ability to understand method specifications and basic engineering drawings

Hours:

AM Shift: Monday to Thursday 05:45 am to 1:45 pm / Friday 05:45 am to 10:45 am

PM Shift: Monday to Thursday 1:45 pm to 9:45 pm / Friday 10:45 am to 3:45 pm

Nights: Monday to Thursday 9:45 pm to 05:45 am / Friday 3:45 pm to 8:45 pm
