Axon Moore is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant for a PE backed SME aiming to double in size in the coming years.
The role offers the opportunity to influence change within an established business and work closely with a supportive Financial Controller.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, overseeing the month-end close process, and assisting with budget preparation.
Candidates should ideally be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or at their final stages, with relevant experience required for the role.
The position offers a competitive salary, with interviews scheduled to take place in the New Year.

Axon Moore are partnering with a successful PE backed SME who are looking to double in size over the next couple of years; therefore looking to recruit an experienced Senior Management Accountant.This is an excellent varied opportunity to step into an established business, with the opportunity to drive change and make the role their own. This individual will gain exceptional exposure and shadow and learn from a high calibre and supportive Financial Controller.Responsibilities include:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including Europe & USA
Oversee month end close process; including posting month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and recording all financial transactions
Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts
Monitoring cash flow and preparing regular forecasts
Variance analysis
Overseeing the annual audit, and supporting external auditors

Prepare and submit VAT & Intrastat returns for UK and international entities
Assisting and supporting Group Finance team with project work

The role will suit an individual with a positive, can-do attitude with an enthusiastic and energetic approach to work, who is hungry to develop and progress within a fast paced environment. Ideally candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, or at final stages with relevant experience.
