Description
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained to meet demand, while minimising excess and obsolete stock.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain processes.
- Present forecast data and insights to senior management, contributing to strategic planning.
- Identify and address any issues that could impact the supply chain.
- Use advanced software tools to optimise planning processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.
Profile
A successful Demand Planner should have:
- Proficiency in demand forecasting software and MS Office suite.
- Sound understanding of end to end supply chain
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - be able to
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
