We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join the Demand team in the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will excel in forecasting product demand, working closely with customers, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations.

Description

  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained to meet demand, while minimising excess and obsolete stock.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain processes.
  • Present forecast data and insights to senior management, contributing to strategic planning.
  • Identify and address any issues that could impact the supply chain.
  • Use advanced software tools to optimise planning processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.

Profile

A successful Demand Planner should have:

  • Proficiency in demand forecasting software and MS Office suite.
  • Sound understanding of end to end supply chain
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - be able to
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
