Are you a Sales Order Processor or an Administrator looking to work for a well-established company based in Leigh who work internationally? Your main function will be dealing with a range of established customers, processing orders and contributing to the overall success and development of the department and the business. You will be rewarded with a company that supports staff, working with household names and client base, supported in personal growth with career progression, ongoing training, fantastic supportive colleagues.  Hours 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch.   Salary is £24,000 rising to £25,000 Following successful probation period.   

Sales Order Processor Duties:   

  • Monitoring the sales email inbox.  
  • Accept and handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence. 
  • Dealing with and responding to a high volume of emails from customers and internal departments.    
  • Connecting with your customers from initial enquiry and have a drive to understand their needs.     
  • Prepare, organise and manage bespoke quotations, following up on quotes, sales order processing. 
  • Processing orders, order amendments, sending purchase orders and emailing customers with updates. 
  • Credit checks and chasing late payments. 
  • Dealing with pricing negotiation from overseas suppliers and supplier samples. 
  • Liaising with internal departments to manage customer requests and deliveries/shipping.   
  • Maintain good working knowledge of systems and continuing updates.     
  • Other administrative duties as required with the role.  

The ideal Sales Order Processor would meet the following:    

  • Experience in a similar role or Sales Administration/ Administration, Customer Service with a knowledge of dealing with products would be advantageous.  Training will be given. 
  • Essential, worked in a fast-paced environment and can meet deadlines essential.  
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise own workload, experience of Microsoft office, Word, Outlook and CRM, systems desirable.  
  • Good Communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly, team player.   
  • Must have a high level off accuracy and good data entry skillset.
