The Company:
A well established but growth focussed, MSP based in Leigh, Greater Manchester delivering IT solutions and support to a wide range of clients. Looking to add a support engineer who wants to grow their career in a fast-paced MSP environment.
The Opportunity:
This opportunity is for a 1st line support engineer, reporting into the lead cloud engineer. This role is a hybrid position, mostly remote but in the office every other Thursday for some team time. We are looking for a confident self starter who has experience in a similar role in an MSP.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a 1st line support or similar IT support role within a managed services or corporate environment.
- Familiarity with helpdesk management tools and remote support technologies.
- Working knowledge of the following areas would be beneficial but not essential
- Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Windows Server environments
- Active Directory
- Basic networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Microsoft Intune
- Virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- A proactive approach to learning new technologies and processes.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications
- CompTIA certifications (e.g., A+, Network+).
- ITIL Foundation certification.
