This is an excellent opportunity to work a broad role that covers everything from Management Accounts to Budgeting and Forecasting.

Our client, a well-established Retail business with an impressive growth trajectory, is seeking a commercially astute Management Accountant to join their dynamic team in Leighton Buzzard. The successful candidate will take ownership of the financial operations while partnering with key stakeholders to drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
Description
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
- Lead the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Manage a team of 3 finance professionals, providing mentorship and development
- Partner with operational managers to analyse performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting
- Drive the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and procedures
- Prepare board reports and presentations for senior leadership
Profile
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities
