Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and friendly accountancy practice based near Leighton Buzzard that is looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team. This small but ambitious firm is expanding and seeking an experienced accountant to support its growing client base. With a close-knit team of 10 and big plans for the future, they foster a family-friendly culture and understand the importance of flexibility. Key Requirements:- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong bookkeeping and accounts experience
- Sound knowledge of Xero software
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Availability to start on short notice in Dunstable
- Preparation of year-end accounts and corporation tax returns
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- Bookkeeping services and payroll
- Preparation and timely submission of VAT returns
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts
- Permanent position (full-time or part-time options available)
- Salary: Up to £35,000 per year
